Attorney McGowan practices in the firm's land use development, real estate, municipal and litigation practice groups, serving the needs of the firm's clients in hearings before municipal boards, litigation in the state's trial and supreme courts, negotiations and the transactional aspects of real estate development. He is licensed to practice law in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
He is certified through the U.S. Green Building Council as a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP). Mr. McGowan has authored articles on green building and sustainable development for the N.H. Local Government Center's "Town & City" magazine. He received the N.H. Bar Association's Pro Bono "Rising Star" award for 2008, in recognition of his outstanding advocacy on behalf of low-income individuals.
He received his J.D. from Vermont Law School in 2007. He received his B.A. (Economics) from Boston College in 1999.
